In part 2 of my Sourcecon posts we will discuss the things that came from the Anonymous Track.

From Jim Schnyder’s Leveraging Linked Recruiter we gain the following tips, tricks or tools: Knowledge of the LIR premium insights, Search insights, Visual Capture ability, Competitive intel, and more. We learned about the LIR CRM capabilities, notes, folders, tags, custom fields, importing etc. With regards to the search capability, the new UI allows for relocation possibility, years of exp, and experience in general.

In the next Session we had Ronnie Bratcher and his “Source by Searching Weird” Some of the tools, tips, and tricks we get from this presentation are; SenseBot a specialized search engine to help make sense of the results, Etools which is a metasearch engine with added search capabilities, Webcrawler, Millionshort which is a great way to see the 2nd tier of results not just the most popular or paid for, Sputtr, and Dogpile.

Holly Matthews and her MacGyver Sourcing was next. Here we learned; combining extensions, reengineering, and revolutionizing things. We learned about Citable-a way to save quotes and notes, using google images, Dataminer, Hunter, Google Sheets, and Voice typing all tools to save you time.

Nancy Dorn did hers on Advanced Candidate Data scraping and Engagement. Tools, tips, and tricks shown are; Gmail, Github, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Connectifier, Thatsthem.com, Namecheckr.com, Namecheck.com.

Lastly for this track was Steve Rath and creating a Custom Search Engine (CSE). In this, he talks about advanced Boolean operators which can all be found at Boolean Operators Updated!!, Zip Code Radius, and Finally how to make a CSE.
