Recruiting ChangeLast week I was working at my desk when my oldest daughter came up behind me and asked if I had time to review some homework she'd been working on for her history class. She said she'd already typed it up on her computer and just needed me to take a quick look.

"Sure sweetie," I said. "Just email it to me and we'll take a look together."

She responded with, "No need, Daddy. I already shared it to you." What she meant was that because it was a collaborative assignment with two of her friends she had recommended they work on it using Google Documents - an idea that apparently took the class by storm.

I asked what caused her to make such a recommendation. She said she heard about it and gave it a shot - and after playing with it for a few days it just seemed to be a smarter way to work with her friends...
She felt she needed to change.
