DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Providing support for applications and networks used by the global organization; (2) Technical configurations, testing, releases, installations, monitoring, and support of mission critical applications and their respective back end systems; (3) Performing technical system and network troubleshooting and resource optimization; (4) Escalating advanced technical issues to the appropriate technical level; (5) Performing in a strong customer facing role in which you strive to exceed customer expectations.
4 years of STRONG/CURRENT systems administration experience in a UNIX/LINUX/WINDOWS environment with STRONG/CURRENT SQL skill.
4 years of STRONG/CURRENT scripting language experience to include: Perl, UNIX shell, awk, Python, etc.
4 years of STRONG/CURRENT troubleshooting through resolution skills performing level 1 and level 2 application support.
STRONG customer orientation and OUTSTANDING English communication skills (verbal and written).
STRONG/CURRENT experience with version and revision control practices and procedures.
MUST have exceptionally strong command of the English language (verbal and written) and be able to be crisply articulate to a wide varietal audience including executive management.
MUST be a flexible team player who aspires to learn and grow and develop as a professional and as a person.
Pluses: Brokerage, trading, or global banking.
