Sourcecon Spring 2017!! The Aftermath

Sourcecon spring 2017 has come and gone and starting next week I will be posting my breakdown. For this post we will cover a few of the special events. 

The pre-Sourcecon training event done by the great Mark Tortorici. This was a half day of tips, tricks, tools and sourcing magic.

 Next came the Sourcecon Kick-off Party. This was an awesome get-together, with great music, great food, and plenty of interaction. 

The last special event was the hackathon. The hackathon happened evening of day 2. Basically, it was 2 events, the first was everyone getting together, talking and trying to help each other solve sourcing problems. The second part was the actual contest. Basically, you broke out into teams of 4, and solved sourcing problems. Each stage narrowed the field of teams done till only 1 was left and those completed separately to win the title of Hackathon champion. This year’s Champion was Susanna Conway. 

That was the special events, as I said starting next week we will break down the actual sessions.
