So day 1 Key notes, as always I will hit the high notes and focus on tools, and methods.
First up Jason Roberts and the State of Talent Acquisition. What we learned is Facebook is a major player with regards to employer branding. We also learned that both companies and workers feel technology is taking the human out of Human Resources. That said both also say that technology has made recruiting and finding a job easier. Some talk of Ai with mixed results and reviews. So a summation while technology is great and very much appreciated, lets not forget the Human side as well.
Next up Sarah Goldberg and Diversity and Inclusion. One of the keys is answering these 3 questions; Who does it include? Who does it exclude? And How do I bridge the gap? Strategies; names-there are sites and tools that can help you search by name by gender. Use pronouns like he, she, him, he, etc.
