Nimble is a “social CRM” which combines pretty much everything you need for task and contact management into a single, simple and intuitive solution ideal for candidate relationship management - and more. Nimble exemplifies the growing divide between consumer and human resources technology. It’s extremely intuitive in both user interface and user experience, so easy a caveman or an HR generalist could do it. Most industry specific CRMs which market themselves as “candidate relationship management” systems even though they're really just scalable ways to send, segment and track mass e-mail campaigns. That’s not innovative – that’s marketing automation disguised as recruiting.
The Nimble Today home screen displays contacts with whom you've recently interacted, as well as an option to mark their relative importance and auto schedule a reminder to follow up with them, along with your integrated calendar, and recent social media interactions ranked by relative influence & personal relevance. Think of it as a kind of dashboard of your professional existence.
Nimble seamlessly integrates with the major social networks, as well as the Google and MS Office product suites, allowing easy uploading and consolidation of contacts across disparate networks. It also integrates with marketing automation products like Hubspot and MailChimp for contact uploads, as well CSV files, Google Doc & Excel spreadsheets, etc., and is both system and browser agnostic.

Nimble, on the other hand, actually creates a completely personalized experience that incorporates a contact (or candidate’s) social profiles, Klout score, contact information and personalized notes or information directly into their profile or record. This consolidated recording and reporting represents significant potential for increasing recruitment efficiency and effectiveness, turning disparate systems and point solutions.
Most HR industry specific CRM point solutions really refer to some clunky way to segment and track e-mail campaigns by utilizing ATS records. But Nimble, which recently announced integration with RChilli, a resume parsing service that extends the suite’s capability to include candidate contacts & campaigns, has the potential to actually deliver enterprise grade capabilities with a price point that’s within reach for any recruiter.
RecruitingBlogs is committed to bringing talent acquisition leaders and practitioners objective insights and resources into the recruiting tools and technology landscape. As such, this post does not constitute an endorsement for Nimble, and Nimble did not pay for this post.
