With Recruiter Agency Recruiters dealing with two sets of clients on a daily basis, it is important for them to have the ability to balance the needs of both.

This is the list of traits that you should recognise in your current recruiters;

  • Good recruiters know as much as possible about their clients, so they can find you the very best people for your business

  • Good recruiters will not work from a job spec, they work with a full understanding of each role

  • Good recruiters do not advertise by coping and pasting job specs, they create engaging adverts to attract the best candidates

  • Good recruiters keep clients and candidates informed

  • Good recruiters respond to everyone who applies even if it’s a thanks, but no thanks email

  • Good recruiters will tell a candidate if they are not right for the role they applied for rather than keeping them hanging on tenterhooks

  • Good recruiters will not ask for reference details during the first conversation (this is just a way of gaining more leads)

  • Good recruiters will tell you the name of the company  and will know a lot about the company and the role

  • Good recruiters interview their candidates face to face

  • Good recruiters will not manipulate a CV to fit the role

  • Good recruiters will not send 10 or so CVs but present a small selection of qualified applicants

  • Good recruiters keep in touch with candidates throughout the process

  • Good recruiters give proper feedback, good or bad

  • The best recruiters stay in the industry and do not job hop every 3 - 6 months

If your current recruiters do the above then you know you are in safe hands.

If recruiters, clients and candidates work together, we can make recruitment an industry that adds value and saves everyone time.
