Attention: All Recruitfest09 Attendees: I need your help!

I am (or was?) the owner of the world's only Dave Mendoza Bobblehead. Now just why in the world would I have such a thing? And how did I get it? That's a long story so I'll not bore you with the details. This post is more important than that.

HE IS MISSING!

His trip started out as most everyone else heading to Toronto. In a van. Heading down Highway 402.

Everything seemed to be going well. After meeting at the 5 Star Holiday Inn we all headed out to Madison's for some drinks after a long day's travel. This place was pretty cool. I was surprised how big it was. It seemed any direction you went there was another room - another bar - another pool table. Pretty cool place. Impressive by any bar standards in my book. El Dave shot a little pool as the rest of us began to relax and get to know each other.

The next day was planned full of networking, unconference stuff and then to finish with the once-again-spectacular blow out at Slouch's place. El Dave hung in with the recruiting talk pretty well all day. Seen here just soaking it all in.....

After regrouping a bit back in the rooms after a full day of learning it was on to the party. Did I mention how lovely Jason's home is? It is awesome by any standards. And the caterer? The appetizer table alone made the trip worthwhile - not to mention the lambchops, tuna, chicken......

Sorry. I get off track. This post isn't about how fabulous the party was. It's far more important than that. El Dave Bobblehead has gone missing! My last recollection is of him spinning some tunes. I remember him making a few bad choices - but I let it ride. It's hard to know what everyone might like. Some songs you just need to throw out there.....and Lil' Dave was doing his best to please the crowd.

He was (as usual) the center of attention the last I knew. That's when I lost track of him. I feel personally responsible for letting him drift off into the crowd. I thought he could handle it. I've checked around and am fearing the worst.

Has anyone seen him? Please send this to everyone you know.

Last time I've seen him, he had hitched a ride on a school bus...

This is so hilarious! I want to party with Lil' Dave! I may even be able to introduce him to some ladies of his ... stature. I hope he turns up soon.

I think I want to hear more about how and why you have a Dave Mendoza Bobble Head. Lil Dave has nice hair. I'm envious.

I believe I found El Dave Bobblehead.

The trail began in Toronto when he was captured and threatened with beer-boarding

He almost drowned

Before, finally, being saved at the last moment and whisked away by an adoring Animal

I would have thought by now someone might have come forward. There has been no reward offered - so maybe that's it. I have never nor will I ever negotiate with hostage takers......if that is indeed what's going down here.

I just received an anonymous email with this picture of Lil' Dave. No contact info. No body or text message attached. Nothing. I can't quite pinpoint the area this was taken in. I remember flowers and stuff but it's a bit foggy for me. I've been slightly off my game since this whole trip began........Does anyone recognize anything in this photo?

This might be drawing out a bit longer than planned. I was hoping by now to just get Dave back. Just received another anonymous photo.
