Talent Hook?

Hello,

I am considering subscribing to Talent Hook and wonder if any of you would share your experiences with me who have used, or currently use, this tool. Have you found it valuable on an ongoing basis? Any gripes or problems? Is their customer service as good and as accessible as they claim? Are there other similar tools out there that you feel are better or comparable?

I like the tool, but like anything else in this industry it cannot be relied on solely. We like the ability to search multiple sites quickly at once, as well as the types many types of searches. We like the ease of which it pulls in candidate information that we are able to import into our database.

What we do not like is direct job boards searches bring in different candidates so have found we need to use both. Web searches we are more successful in our own individual searches. We have made requests to get sites added to TalentHook that were denied.
We purchased 1 license with no ongoing costs which has made it a worth while investment. If there were on going costs I would have to do more consideration.

Have you heard of Jim Stroud and the Recruiters Lounge, he has an ebook available Resume Forensics that has alot of valuable information on sourcing candidates. We have had success using these techniques, just a thought vs tools.
