Recap of this week's RBC lessons: don't monkey around with lies

Lesson #1:

You may or may not be able to train a monkey to recruit

Lesson #2:

Anyone with a keyboard may be capable of writing their version of career advice and getting it published on a mainstream recruiting website

Lesson #3:

Both #1 & #2 may become trending topics for various reasons

Lesson #4:

If you do #2 and it is proven that you are dumber than a trained or untrained monkey - get ready for a major poo throw down

Lesson #5:

Don't use a fake name and portray yourself as a SME and then hide after your terrible advice is called out for being outrageously crap-tastic

Lesson #6:

Most of us would rather follow the advice of a monkey and work for or with a monkey than the poop-head referred to in #5

Thanks to all of the teaching staff this week including - animal, Will, Amy, Sandra and the rest of the RBC & Twitter gang

Happy weekend, all!

And, if you do do number 2 even a monkey who flings poo can be trained to scoop poop. The alternative is that one can be forever known as the poop monkey who flung poo and flew.

I can see the headline now.

Poop Monkey in Hiding. Claims Threat,Changes Name.
No chit, so what, who cares.

Hilarious Kelly.

Well ,well.

Amy and Will - I was going to comment on both your statements but this wrap up was perfect. You are both awesome and I do enjoy reading your thoughts. We all make mistakes, say something misconstrued, etc. Being human is a real pain in the ass sometimes, no?  HOWEVER, when a comment is made in malice without forethought it needs to be called out which Amy, did a wonderful job of doing.

Will, I commend you for stepping up and owning your statement instead of the aforementioned article that Amy took to task.  You MADE it a conversation and not a vomited mess on a page.  You offered to back up the statement then listened and communicated with those who chose to do so.  Kudos to you sir.

Kudos to you both.

“brown noise”

This is the best recap ever. I love the way Will handled an innocent comment that could have quickly been misinterpreted and caused him to be raked over the burning hot coals of the internet. Instead of backpedaling or ignoring the noise, he turned it into an entertaining post earning him even more fans that he already had. Loved it and Will, love your writing! Keep it up and PLEASE come back to the Animal show soon!
