Brenda, Beverly, Heather, Natalie, Kathryn and Kelly

Do you think that Genentech is aware that someone with a fake LinkedIn profile pic is "working" for them in Sales? Same here - but since I recently tweeted this out, perhaps they WILL know and reach out to their LinkedIn rep and ask the tough questions about fake profiles.

So over lunch, I looked over BRENDA Donna's profile (yes, the first name is capitalized on "her" profile). But in looking at her profile and the folks others viewed, I noticed something rather interesting:

BRENDA Donna's profile looks like the profile of “BEVERLY HILL" (think about the name for a moment) whose profile looks like the profile of Heather Carter whose profile looks like the profile of Natalie Smith whose profile looks like the profile of Kathryn Miller whose profile looks like the profile of Kelly Garcia whose profile looks like…

Hint - look at the Education of all the profiles; notice anything?

The first thought that popped into my head was "Pyramid Scheme"; you?

In fact, based on Pete's article, someone from LinkedIn JUST reached out to me and wants to chat.
