New YearSo other than the parties I believe that the best part of new year - the part that people just LOVE - is setting resolutions. Oh, I know - you're probably already picking up on my sarcasm, right? Of course, maybe you don't even make a New Year's resolution because you know that you just won't lose that extra 10lbs or you'll never find the time to pick up that old hobby again. But hey, let's chat a bit about them anyhow.

First - my resolutions from last year and how we ended up... In review most only made it through the first ½ of the year with my guitar playing not even clearing January. (you can find the list here if you're interested.)

The three that were the most successful where numbers 4, 6, and 7... as follows.
  • Make an attempt to speak my wife's primary and secondary love language every day.
  • Take FULL advantage of Google and MS Office and Blackberry software to simplify and organize my life.
  • Get my music library in tip-top shape.

I think that the key to being successful with our resolutions is in sticking to what we're passionate about. My wife's love language was important to me. Getting organized and using new applications and technology to stay productive is a passion of mine. I love my music.

But late last year I was thinking about how I'd like to move myself through 2009 and came upon the revelation...
