Are You Using LinkedIn's 'Signal' Feature? One of the Hidden Gems of Social Recruitment

For those that are using LinkedIn to have an on going discourse with your connections, one of the hidden gems is their 'signal' feature. Basically, the feature allows you to navigate the status stream more specifically then what you can do on your home page. For any of your connections (2nd connections etc.), you can pinpoint conversations/shares/status updates based upon key words, location, etc. (ie. CEO in Greater Atlanta Area). You can find it under 'News' up on the top menu. Is anyone else enamored with this feature?

Actually you can now use the LinkedIn Signal to watch everyone on LinkedIn, not just your connections and network! You can choose "the third level connection and everyone else" and also select "profile updates" vs. other changes. I have posted some sample searches and screenshots here: Who Is Thinking of a New Career?

Bob - yes, it is accessible under the "News" menu item in LinkedIn.
