I love this article.

"It was a humid June morning on David Perry's fourth day of masquerading as a snack-food vendor inside an industrial park. He had one day left on the canteen truck he'd rented for $500."

Thanks for posting it Jason. It rust you enjoyed OnRec. Who says recruiters aren't creative. And the War for Talent raging across the globe it'll be interesting to see how recruiters become ever more "creative".
This is brilliant Jason/David... makes you want to get out of bed in the morning and try something new in the recruitment day! Refreshing...
David, did you make the money back in food sales? I need to know?
I loved that story too. Just picturing it is vivid

Actually it cost me $500 for the week for the hour run to the building I worked. During the week I collected ~$480 in IOUs she had outstanding and nearly doubled here sales [I made sure all the smokers bought a pack of gum as well]. The fee was ~ $40k with 9 follow on projects. The target company went belly up about 15 months later and my client went to ~$100 million then sold to a larger US company.

Thanks Gavin. You really do have to love the job to pull out all the stops for clients.
