As a recruiter, how much do you like to use video and/or IM? I'd love to hear Your Opinion.

IAM UNABLE TO LOGIN FOR CHAT ,
WHY I DONT KNOW
I think you can chat with customer service for help. See the chat box on the lower right side?
Lots of video...lots of IM...
I use IM within my team and I use videos to "train" my candidates.
Check out the videos on my page here or on my youtube channel: medsalesrecruiter
We have used video interviews with candidates and clients (and I think this will be more and more as people get used to it).
I like video for live interviews. I don't use IM at all. Find it too intrusive and distracting. Email is fine and immediate enough, as I can answer it when the time is right rather than when I'm deep into something else. Plus, with outlook it still flashes through immediately, so if it's urgent, I can choose to answer asap as well.
I use it constantly to stay in touch with candidates and clients and friends. In addition, I'll use IM to interview people online before calling them. Works great for passive candidates
Can you believe I saw this one conversation where a recruiter presented candidates using IM! Then had no record and lost the placement...(of course, more details - but you get the point). Not so funny?
