Wouldn't Google alerts do RSS for you?

Yes. Another easy solution would be to keep it out of your inbox and use an rss reader as your "boolean ats" Then simply manage your feeds in groups or tagged items - also giving you the ability to share with peers or teams.

Staying within the greatness of Google, http://feedmysearch.com is a great item that helps you get there.

It was really great to meet and talk with at least two people at ERE that were either using this practice or already aware of it.
I'd LOVE to hear of anyone else taking advantage of this or taking it a step further...
