The buzz from the sin of Recruiting... the sin of PRIDE!

I traveled to Brisbane for the last couple of days and was lucky enough to get a first hand view at the effect of what we do and how it influences and really matters to your company and it's people.

With all the doom and gloom at the moment in the general market place, I traveled to Brisbane to fire up our Talent Pipeline. I had some fun interviews and some dodgy ones, a fair mix I thought. However last night the State Manager called a company meeting with all our employees in Brisbane, all 20 of them. We have grown to this from 0 in the last 2 years. Beer and Pizza it was, a presentation or 2 including a little on from me.. all good.

Now where is the buzz? Well, seeing the quality of the people we have hired, all together in the one room, interacting, joking, having fun etc, was a real buzz a sensational vibe in that room... My Recruiting Department built that! We hired all those people. These people are our company and responsible for our growth and reputation there.. That was a buzz! Total inspired to get back to home office and share what I found with the team and anyone else who will listen.

Dan- Get hold of a Flip and take these meetings back to the troops. Include these vids on your website to help generate a more buzzing brand.

I'm way behind the times when it comes to Flipping - Jason, Ben Gotkin, Dennis Smith, Gerry Crispin et. al. - have had theirs for some time.

But on my commute I've started Flipping fellow commuters, asking them about work, the economy, etc. and will start posting these on RBC.

Why not also Flip people before and after you interview them and include these as part of your company's employment branding campaign?

can't wait to see that...

I need more gadgets (had honestly never heard of it)... the only flipping I see here is the flipping of the bird.. completely different connotations though huh....
