Hi

I'm compiling an international list of job-oriented sites with beautiful and clever logos. This includes: job boards, resume builders, forums for recruiters and/or job seekers, recruiting associations, etc. The logo needs to come from a site that's job search/recruiting related.

Please reply with:
* the url of any corresponding job site that comes to mind
* Optional: your blog url (if you have one)
* Optional: 1-2 lines about why you chose the logo (you can do this for each logo)

If I use your submission in the final list, I'll link to your blog or LinkedIn profile.

Finally- if there's a way I can help you these days, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks in advance,

Jacob

I'm not saying mine is the greatest in the world, Kind of simple...but the meaning during these economic times really meant a lot to me when I was designing it..."the glass is half full" will hopefully encourage any prospective client or partner to walk away remembering that this too shall pass!

Rachel, can you send me the url to your logo or website with the logo?
Some smaller job sites have some nice logos as well. Thess niche industry and geographic specific sites get my vote!

Sure! Please be patient, I developed the site myself (and still have to repair the graphics on the button links...). The URL is :www.emtronline.com. Another aspect of the logo is that the bottom is green, as there is an "emerging" trend in green companies, I wanted the dominant color to carry this theme, as we are a home-based, virtual recruiting firm, therefore saving commuting and office expense and resources. Thanks for the interest!

my bias take.. hehehe
Hi Jacob,

I'm so amazed that people oversee my beautiful and clever logo :)

I don't think I need to explain the why....but I'll do it anyway:

- First of all the windmill is a symbol of The Netherlands/Holland, and so is the color orange
- A windmill is simple, yet clever and effective ....like us
- Orange is a color that also stands for innovation. Lucky coincidence. We do try to put an innovative dot on the i.
- The logo is recognizable, simple, stylish and modern, and brings together old and new which is symbolic for us, too: the best elements of traditional recruiting combined with the benefits of the internet age

Pretty cool uh? Thanks!

Regards,

Niels

Great discussion topic! I was actually going to discuss this on my blog after I noticed that a good amount of recruiters have a pretty weak web presence. It may not be a big deal to us recruiters, but when are clients live and breathe technology, they definitely notice an ugly website.

I'm a bit biased, but I like the logo for the site I'm currently developing. Its my first venture into independent recruiting and I am hoping that it makes an impression on my clients.

Our motto is going to be something along the lines of "we're looking after you" Recruiting Angel.com

Here is the "Mascot" that will help clients identify us.

- I chose this logo because its easily identifiable and it visually represents the companies name
- The companies name was chosen because it creates a mental picture with positive connotations

The site is not completed yet, but you can track its progress at my blog: The Tech Recruiter .com
