This week, I got an InMail response from an A list candidate who specifically told me he only responded to me after reading Dave Mendoza's write up about me.

Agree with Jerry re: Dave's reach .. still get invitation requests on LinkedIn. I have received few comments re: Dave's write -up.. which was humbling.. That reminds me.. I have to get back to Dave's request re: french translation final edit :)

Yes, Dave has created a large and friendly community.

I crossed over 10,000 LI connections this week, thanks to being on Dave's list, and we got some new people in the "Boolean Strings" group http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/1176637 (over 1,500 members now).

I'll see what the upcoming write-up will bring!

maybe you can tweet dave sightings, and give away little dave dolls with the autographs. What a great idea!

Definitely, being featured on Dave's list or being profiled by him, is definitely a huge step in the right direction! His reach is far, evident by the number of invites I got, and still am getting!!
