All team players, produce a high standard of work and well respected by the DEP. Candidate will work alongside Division Manager to successfully manage all aspects of project responsibilities. Job responsibilities include field work, document preparation and review, site data and regulatory interpretation, applied knowledge of the MCP (Massachusetts Contingency Plan). BS in Geology, Engineering or Hydrogeology required with 4+ years of environmental consulting experience in MA. Candidate must be a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in environmental assessment and remediation. Position requires a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a team environment and who is also proficient working unsupervised. Candidate will have due diligence, environmental/subsurface assessment and remediation skills. Working knowledge of the MCP is a necessity. Excellent writing skills and extensive experience with New England geology and hydrology. Candidate should be proficient in the following areas: Managing technical and administrative aspects of a large number of multidisciplinary assessments and compliance projects; client and regulatory interface; contract and budget management; risk assessments; and applied knowledge of remediation systems. 40 HR OSHA certified, Supervisor Training, CPR and First Aid certified Professional certification a plus Basic understanding of Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) regulations and the underground storage tank program. Excellent writing skills and some experience with MCP policy and reporting guidelines. Candidates should have background with New England geology and subsurface conditions. Candidate should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas; monitoring well installation, site surveying, litho logic descriptions, groundwater and soil collection, and UST removal supervisor experience. Candidate must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Position requires a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a team environment and also works proficiently unsupervised.
