e achieve here. Achievement here is measure on professional and personal levels: Professionally, everyone who enables themselves to do so will learn; personally, I cannot imagine my life without having met many of the people I've come to know through the this and other related sites.
Ebbs and flows hit everywhere even here. Great content will drive action and we have great content here. But I too see the difference between common conversation (best ATS?) and radical conversation (sourcing is dead?); add this to the economic challenges and you get slow periods.
What I would like to see from this site are real stories of action - or job search; both are of value. I'll add one today - a search I'm conducting here in NYC. Please add yours; we'll learn from each other and heck, you never know when someone here is the beneficiary.

to the HR and the recruiting community. I don't want to spam sites with links back to my site. My goal is to learn about the recruiting and HR community and develop relationships and have conversations.
I'm not a fan of the way a lot of companies approach sales. I hate getting numerous telemarketing phone calls during the day. I would never do that to anyone, and I wish they wouldn't do it to me. However, you have to spread the word about your product. I'm not sure what the most effective way to do that is.
But, I do know I need to understand what recruiters and HR professionals go through and how they operate (and every now and again throw in a shameless plug for my ATS). That's why I joined this community. The more I learn, the better ATS I can design.
Thanks for being understanding and replying.…
will Google your name and learn all they can prior to bringing you in. Make sure any public view of your site is appropriate - you don't want to be eliminated from consideration over a photo.... Good luck!
