Why Recruiters Should Care About My New Job-Seeker Book

I was going to announce my new book ("The Job-Seeker's Guide to Resume Search Optimization and the Internet-Age Resume") here, but then I thought, "Dan, why does a bunch of recruiters care about your job-seeker book?!"

The good news is that I answered myself. Okay, maybe that's bad… Continue

How Can I Use RecruitingBlogs To Its Fullest?

Okay, so I just did the "regular" thing. I cross posted the latest posting from the FRACAT Blog to my blog here.

I know that'll probably get some additional traffic and visibility. And I know that's what a lot of you are doing, too.

But I'm looking at the possibility of spending significant time on RecruitingBlogs (I just changed my color scheme, after all) and I want to get the most out of this community that I can.

Hello,

We are looking for Independent/freelance recruiter to fill USA position or RPO agency to partner up. if you are looking for contract/freelance recruiter position or an RPO agency, please share your contact number and details and best time to reach you.

Here is the summary of what jobhuk is:

Jobhuk is a crowd sourced hiring marketplace. This is a great tool for staffing agencies & independent recruiters to find requirements to work on, do what they are good at which is finding the right candidate for the job, and get paid. Its that simple.

Instead of Clients and PrimeVendors sending emails and setting up approval processes to work with them, we do all that for the market and allow them to Post their requirements directly to Jobhuk. As Jobhuk as already legally bound via the digital contract, and we also make sure to check the profile of the companies who are posting requirements on jobhuk, we ensure they are genuine.

For fulltime positions, you will get paid the amount set on the job when your candidate is being hired with a 60days evaluation period. If client wishes to keep the candidate, you get paid.

For contract positions, where the hiring is much faster. You get paid the amount mentioned on the job on successful. The payments are made on monthly basis, where Jobhuk co ordinates to get the time sheets of the candidate and invoices clients on monthly basis and pays recruiters on same timeline. To give more clarity on the hourly rates spread:

Clients Post Job with $100/hr for 6 months (1000 hours contract), Recruiters Margin 15% - $15/hr , Jobhuk Margin 5% - $5/hr, Candidate Rate 80% - $80/hr.

Clients are contractually bound with Jobhuk so they always pay Jobhuk and We pay recruiters as a follow on.

On a every successful hire, our back office team will execute contracts and setup wire transfer collecting your back account information. If you are within U.S and are able to provide is a W9, we send make all the payments as 1099 to the name on W9 for Taxation purpose.

If you are outside U.S. then we take care of the Taxes on your behalf and pay the amount after TAX & processing fee (40 % ) deducted directly into your account.

Feel free to reach us back anytime for more information.(aditi@jobhuk.com)

Dan, Thank you very much for coming on The Recruiting Animal show. There were two aspects to your approach that surprised me. (1) The techniques themselves. (2) The various applications for them.

I'm going to buy your book.
