Typically, I’m speaking about topics related to making an impact through people strategies, effective leadership, […]

The conference was held in beautiful Park City, Utah, and it was a great opportunity for me to learn more about their Bridge Career product — an employee-centric career development tool that aligns career vision with core values and […]

10 Things You Need to Do to Make This Year Your Best Year Ever

As I’m sure you did too, I spent some time during the end of year holidays to reflect on the past year, the past decade, and my life in general. I also spent a little time – not enough yet – to consider the new year, and the new decade that lies ahead. If I’m […]

2 Secrets of Successful "Social Recruiting" Explained

Every day, somewhere out there in our universe, many Recruiters are losing their way in regards to using social networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook for recruiting purposes. I see the complaints (often ironically aired via Twitter) that <insert favorite social network name> simply doesn't work for recruiting and is only a waste of time. These rants are typically followed by statements extolling the virtues of the telephone - and how "real" Recruiters know how to magically work… Continue

LinkedIn and Web 2.0 Still Need Networking 1.0

It's LinkedIn week here in Cincy Recruiter's world, and I'll be speaking to three different groups this week about using LinkedIn. As a LinkedIn fan and avid user… Continue
