Mamma Mia

Dear Claudia,

I'm a corporate college recruiter, and find myself spending a lot (and I do mean A LOT) of time coaching candidates so they present well to hiring managers. It happens daily, and I am really starting to resent that I have…

How do you know when a hire isn’t working out? And when can I…

The Last of the Late, Great Recruiters

Dear Claudia,

My question for you isn't specifically about recruiting, but about time management. My problem is that I am almost always late for things -- appointments, interviews, meetings, birthdays, anniversaries. Don't get me wrong; I get a lot done and have been recruiting successfully for years. And yes, I know it's a bad habit, that it's unprofessional, but I don't mean it that way. I just honestly believe that I can fit everything in. Any ideas to help me improve this area…
