So day 2 Breakout session, included “Gaining a Competitive Advantage from Competitive Intelligence” by Gelnn Gutmacher and Monali Palmer, “Candidate Career Problems” By Shannon Anderson, and “Sourcing and Personal Branding” by Craig Fisher.
First up “Gaining a Competitive Advantage from Competitive Intelligence” by Gelnn Gutmacher and Monali Palmer. The start was about tools paid that can help us find info. Some mentioned are; IdiCore, TLOxp, LexisNexis, and others. The People Aggregators; Entelo, Talentbin, HiringSolved. The came the free tools; Digimind, Cipher, Traction, and more. Also mentioned was Indeed, Linkedin, Google, as well as other things like conferences, Associaitons, and the like.
Next up was Shannon Anderson and Candidate Career Problems. The gist of this one was understanding the candidates pain, putting yourself in their shoes. She recommends using Personas, and having a great understanding of the role and the candidate pool.
