The last Fundamental track for day 2 was, “How to: Stop Wasting Time in Talent Acquisition” by Holly Fawcett and Jubal Ince.

So this presentation was a lot about using Social Talent and their awesome Boolean sourcing tool, which handles the identify metric below. They discuss a candidate sourcing goal metrics:

Of course they lay out their plan for achieving this:

They then discuss communication rates etc:

After that it was when is the best time to send emails, and reply rates. The times seem to be 6am and 8pm, and that is the crux of it.

 

Next up was the last lab of the day entitled “The hottest FREE Sourcing Tools Available” by me. So below is a list of the tools I showed with links to them:

 

DataScraper- for scraping information

JustClipIt- another clipping or scraping tool

LeadIQ – a combo tool that scrapes profile and will find contact info

LEX- scrapes Linkedin Search results

Simple Seek, and Sales Search,– for xray searching

Tidy Bookmarks- for quick easy finding and access to your bookamrks

Search-preview allows you to see your google results without clicking on the link
