The Change Maestro's Management Tip- Improvement based in complacency is false improvement

Improvement based in complacency is false improvement #TLS Continuum

Consider your organization. What happens when the organization make a change in order to make a process better?

You have two choices. The first is that you can look at the change or improvement as just another management fad and it will change tomorrow. We are doing what they ask us to do because that is what management wants and expects. The second choice is that you can embrace the improvement and strive to make the organization better. You can become engaged in the improvement by taking ownership of the change. David Steinberg of XL Marketing defined innovation as "Innovation does not have to be about creating the light bulb or the telegraph. Innovation can be very important small changes to something that is working. That is the stuff that is overlooked and it can take things to the next level." It is those small changes that propel your organization to new successes. So the next time change comes to your organization, get involved. Don't second guess the reasons for the change. Change empowers the organizations. Change engages the organization when everyone treats the change with commitment.
