Recently, I started reading the Book the Survivor's Club. Here in the midst of economic challenge we need to become survivors.

I found myself needing to find hope in the midst of a time where my employer had to cut my hours and pay in half.

The challenge now is real. I am using my tricks learned as a sourcer-knowledge of how to find a hiring manager or candidate to find those who can help me network to find new business.

The challenges are daunting.

The time to survive is now. In my part-time hours I must try valiantly to help my current employer find a way forward.

It is vitally important to make a difference with the time we have, and to strive to make a difference.

Is life really so bad? As I have been reading Ben Sherwood's book, the Survivor's Club I am finding hope that those who have faced insurmountable odds can find better lives and fulfilling steps forward.

We must all continue to dig and to help others prosper.

We can all survive this economic meltdown, and pull through to the other side with a new perspective.

Live for today, and survive.
