When it comes to your candidate database does size really matter? I know that line is totally cheesy and cliché but I still think it’s an important question. There are still tons of companies out there that are recruiting under a false narrative of we need to build a huge database of candidates so that when we have an open job we can immediately start marketing to them. Here’s the problem those same companies have all this candidate data locked up inside an ATS and CRM but the search, sort, stack ranking and especially the marketing capabilities of those platforms have fallen behind the times.
