Hello All!

So I just got off an interesting a call. I was contacted by a large staffing company here where I am. They approached me about becoming a sub vendor for them. Basically when they get job reqs in they would submit some of those to us. They would withhold the company of course but give us details to provide to potential candidate.

We would then locate and source a potential candidate. If they are interested we would send their info over to the other staffing agency which would present to their client. If they are accepted they assume communication with the candidate at that point. If he is then hired we would negotiate a rate or flat fee. My question is has anyone done this before. I am a little leary of this but wanted to know if this is more common then I am aware of. Any info would really help.

Hey,

Other interesting way of doing this you can go and check jobhuk.com, you will see job posted there with referral fee say referral fee is starting from 2000$ or 8000$ or 20000$ or more/less depending on client what he choose as referral fee, so if you submit resume for that client and candidate get hired, you will get your money.

Let me know if you find it attracting or not.

Also feel free to email me or ping me for doubts, question or suggestion.

Thanks

I wish I had more information, but I don't think that is available to us....

I have a problem with recruiting for a position when even YOU don't know the company you are recruiting for.  You are doing all the hard work and the middle man is taking the credit?  Maybe I'm jaded, but I don't like the sounds of it......

I agree Linda I do not either. Especially when they can get the candidate first or if that candidate doesnt work out YOU recruit they use that candidate for another role and you may not get credit. I am glad I asked and thank you so much for responding.

Unless it's a high-fee & percentage to you AND  the agency has a guaranteed exclusive with the client. you're probably wasting your time.
