I was recently having this conversation with my recruitment team and was curious to what the RBC thought.

First screening a candidate?
Preparing for interview?
Sending out for face to face?
Background checks?
Contract negotiations?

Is there one part of the recruiting process that you dread the most?

Contract negotiations when we're some (not close, not far) distance apart and I have to find/convince my people to hget out and let me use every "carrot" we've got.....

The one part of the process you might have the least control over right Keith? Thank for weighing in.

Love to hear what Valentino has to say about this one? Where are you Tino???

You're welcome..

If I'd said: "*ordering the hookers for the executive-level candidates", that would have been highly inappropriate, Tim....

;)

YOWZA!

Keith

*Joke folks, joke!

Honestly, after 16 years or so in the industry (has it been that many already?!) I don't dread any of it. Except maybe working with a client who is not going to be a good client. I don't like to have those conversations.

As for the recruiting part?  I don't dread any of it!  Each position, each candidate, each experience is different and I think that is what I love about the industry.  Even if I have to tell a candidate they didn't get the position, I don't mind.  If I can offer something constructive, even better.

I often post on my personal fb page, 'I love my job!'.  It's not uncommon for me to post that, because it's true.  :)
