Small group (6) allows exposure to all levels of work from initial assessments to soil and groundwater remediation, risk assessments, and site closure. All team players, produce a high standard of work and well respected by the DEP.

Candidate will work alongside Division Manager to successfully manage all aspects of project responsibilities. Job responsibilities include field work, document preparation and review, site data and regulatory interpretation, applied knowledge of the MCP (Massachusetts Contingency Plan).

BS in Geology, Engineering or Hydrogeology required with 4+ years of environmental consulting experience in MA. Candidate must be a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in environmental assessment and remediation. Position requires a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a team environment and who is also proficient working unsupervised. Candidate will have due diligence, environmental/subsurface assessment and remediation skills. Working knowledge of the MCP is a necessity. PROJECT MANAGER(S) - JUNIOR, INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR

There are several positions to fill and each position will require varying degrees of experience.

The positions will all have experience in the following areas -

Track record of managing larger complex projects in the $1M - $10M range
3 - 15 years work experience in an industrial or construction environment
Experience managing projects in a hydro environment would be an asset
One or more of the following areas of expertise: Electrical Engineering/P&C Engineering/Telecom Engineering/Information Technology

Position Description:

Manage Forming, Shoring & Scaffolding Department budget, systems utilization, maintenance and inventory. Supervise 2 person Form Design Group. Schedule and coordinate systems use and design, interface with estimators, project supervisors and outside vendors in selecting forming, shoring and scaffolding systems. BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have 10 years heavy civil experience in forming, shoring & scaffolding including bridges, hydroelectric, industrial and marine.

• Works across all three regions.
• Group consists of two staff; EIT, PE, design engineer w/ strong AE curriculum in civil and design detailer with structural capability, ie material strength vs. design capability and does system layouts. Work indirectly daily with yard workers (5 person crew).
• Involved with estimating on larger jobs. We do not supply all jobs. Work a lot with vendors.
• 50% of time is managing Systems/Inventory/materials and 50% in engineering design.
• Uses CMIC and Tool watch systems.
• Some travel but not a lot. Should be more in future to assist other regions. Most of the inventory is in Pittsfield, Maine.
• Position is responsible for inventory, maintenance, purchasing, design, logistics, and managing group.
• Prefer hands on experience plus needs strong financial/organizational management skills i.e. planning, scheduling, budgets.
