There's something real scary at Monster

The New York-based company said Thursday net income dropped 37% in the fourth quarter, to $28.6 million, or 24 cents per share, missing Wall Street's target of a 27-cent per share profit, according to Thomson Reuters. It cited the impact of the weakening economy on online recruitment services.

All that H1-B work... for what?

Buy American...Recruit American?

Seems that several lobbyists managed to convince the House to insert Buy American - initially prohibiting the purchase of foreign iron and steel for any infrastructure project in the bill. Not only does Obama's bill smell like a pig sty because all of the pork in the bill but if many of the trades had their way, steel wouldn't be the only product or service covered by Buy American… Continue
