This post is going to cover The last Session of the first day entitled “The Secrets of a Sourcecon Grandmaster Sourcer” By Jim Schnyder.

So Jim starts out with 15 tips, tricks, tools or methodology.

  1. Using Webinars as a way to source and recruit.
  2. Using Schedule once or a tool like it you can save time going back and fourth with candidates and allot them to set up their own time to speak based in your calendar
  3. Leveraging signatures in emails
  4. Leverage visual presentations of candidates to hiring managers
  5. Clip your visual presentations for quick reference
  6. Utilize Linkedin Folders to setup a rolling month by month follow up with candidates
  7. Some easy Linkedin Search techniques, he talks about use of the “NOT” operator which excludes the word that follows NOT Example- NOT C#
  8. Using LinkedIn Data Visualization and search insights Tools
  9. Leverage Linkedin as a research tool
  10.  One pager with instructions for Employee Referral program.  Targeted email campaign to specific function – send from highest executive (in that function) mailbox!
  11.  Importing information INTO LinkedIn Recruiter.  Can be to add a note, tag, source or even use to get updated intelligence if you have an old email address.
  12.   Using LinkedIn to build targeted folders that map out top talent for engagement.  Build folders using Advanced Search or via “Importing” INTO LinkedIn Recruiter folder.
  13.  Leveraging past college recruiting data to help predict future interview performance
  14.  Doing a mailing campaign, but making it even more personal, in other words no form emails, make it about each individual
  15.  Leveraging an engaging video in your outreach or follow-up – unlisted video on YouTube
  16. Setting up alerts for certain email addresses – hiring manager, boss, customers…, in other words make sure you are notified when you get am email from someone important
