One of the most professionally rewarding experiences for me is the opportunity to mentor students on career choices. I love wide-eyed, the world is an oyster, enthusiasm. What's in a name? How we screwed up naming in Newton once and why we won't ever again.

Be really (really) careful how you name things. And, NEVER use the same word to describe two different things.

Is Twitter a "Triumph of Humanity"?

In this article from the Business Profiles section of apple.com, Twitter is touted as a progressive, conscientious company and employer. But, as you can imagine, Apple does quite a bit of tooting its own horn. It rings a little hollow to call Twitter a “triumph of humanity” when the latter half of the article is a Mac love-fest. The Client Side - Sponsorship - A Client's Perspective

Sponsorship used to be a pain to deal with. It's much worse now. In my opinion it is almost always not worth dealing with. I have people try to make the case all the time that with NAFTA, a TN Visa is no problem, but not clients.
