I was recently laid off as a Technical Recruiter. I love the sound of working from home. 100% commission is a stretch, but something I've done in the past. With a Wife and 2 kids it's a harder sell. The company is UMSHealth.com. The support and commission structure look good if you put the work in. Any words of wisdom?

Well, well, look who finally decided to remember how much fun it is to blog!
To say it has been one of those weeks sounds so very cliché, but quite true. To say I minded would be a lie, though. Work has been an absolute whirlwind of activity in the last few days and I'm glad to have hardly had the time to justify taking a peek at my guilty pleasure that is RBC.
Those of you who have read my previous material know I'm a big proponent of the candidate's experience, taking…

Quote from Heather Green's Businessweek Blogspotting article (Mar. 16):
According to ComScore,
the number of people using their mobile devices to get news and information daily from the Internet doubled to 22.4 million from a year ago. Now that’s interesting and shows that the devices and the networks are living up to their billing as a way to get mobile data for more people. But what’s just as interesting is that
the number of people who used their devices for… Continue

Okay, maybe it's not exactly triumphiant. But certainly a delightful success. I'm talking about a recent placement. Amidst the stories of tought times, several folks here are doing us the service of posting about the good things they have going - what a great and uplifting thing. We all need a little pep talk every once in a while, and what better way to get revved up than to see our fellow RBCer's having success.
I made a placement last week that has me on cloud nine. The lead came…

In absences of my posts on
TheATSGuy.com, many of my readers have been sending me questions directly, which I’m absolutely thrilled about. I thought that it might be helpful to introduce a Q&A section to my blog where I answer all of these questions and make them available to others. I will only using the questions and not private information such as names, emails, or companies. With that being said, please feel free to send me any applicant tracking…

Anyone here using CATS?
I just friggin' love CATS. Asim, Andrew and Sae do a kickass job with their product.
Not to mention they're all smart enough to know that just cause they're brilliant, it doesn't mean they have every idea. CATS set up
BusyRecruiter.com as a means of opening up the flow of ideas. As a result I have had literally the best experience with this company, from their…
