This is my best encouraging word for the industry. We are looking for insurance sales and service people alike. There is a lot of action in our immediate geographical area as well as nationwide. I guess… Continue

'Tis the season to be hired: Advice for employers

When it comes to holiday hiring, employers need to put together a recruitment plan well before the radio stations start playing “Jingle Bell Rock” every half hour. Whether you’re the hiring manager of a restaurant franchise or you own a small clothing store in the mall, there’s no denying that business picks up starting as early as November 1. 21st Century Leader; Values based Leadership

In our lifetimes, many of us have had the opportunity to work with leaders who displayed great leadership values every day. These true leaders were interested in our personal growth, showed compassion to every team member and cared for the success of the entire organization. I am sure a few of us have had the unfortunate times of working with managers who we want to stay away from for ever. How do we identify the creme de la creme among the leaders that we want to work for? What do we look for… Continue

A job where you are eager to jump out of the bed most mornings, get to work and kick some butt.

How and when does one realize ones own passion to make a living? When does one make the… Continue

Video Job Interviews: Remote trumps Live

The obvious use of Video in Recruiting is at the job interview itself, through Video Job Interviews.

The "Live" option works in a way similar to MSN-Skype video applications, allowing conversation to take place.

In the "Remote" option, a Company sets up a Job Interview, sends it to the Candidate, and he/she completes it independently using a webcam.

Both live and remote Video Job interviews beat Video Resumes in interaction capacity, legal convenience and risks… Continue
