This is a crazy healthcare job market right now. Not that feast or famine is a new trend, but famine is not a lot of fun. Rehab Therapy is a great market - if you can find the therapists. Crazy sign on bonuses ($20k plus 3 day 2 night vacations) make me question some companies. I mean, who gives away a vacation before you start?? Warning bells are ringing!
In this tough job market, what has been your greatest healthcare recruiting technique? I am looking to expand our…

While awaiting the departure of a delayed flight recently, my travel companion and I decided to pass the time by having some liquid refreshment in one of the restaurants in the main terminal. This scene is neither unique nor that interesting, and I doubt that I would have paid them much notice except for the…

This time we discus why so many of you won't let Google read your job adverts? Clearly this is not going to help you get more traffic - quite the opposite.
You need as many pages in Google as you can get, all with great content that your job seeker might actually be searching on.…

Last week I posted an article about maximizing an applicant tracking system’s (ATS) 30 day trial. While the post was specifically intended for a time limited trial, I want to extend the post to include topics regarding a different form of ATS test drive offered by vendors. This offer revolves around a completely free model of usage.
The word “free” has reigned champion as the number one attention getter for quite some time. I almost always review offers that land within my general or…

Dear Employer,
Thank you for the consideration you have given me. I can only imagine the amount of effort you have put into saving yourself for someone special in my field. I know there are many recruiters who have come along giving you more than a few reasons to not trust any of us. So again - thank you for seeing something in my and giving me the opportunity to be your "first" recruiter.
Unfortunately I can not accept that responsibility. Over the years I have had…
