Today was a fun day. My wife is in New York with one of my kids so I stayed home from work and looked after the other three.
To start with Dave Mendoza invited about 3000 people to join RecruitingBlogs.com. It’s way more than I have ever invited. As a result, the membership went from about 1050 to 1345 in less than 9 hours.

ContinueIn the past it seems that most of the time Recruiting and HR have been separate entities with vastly different goals. Now that companies are streamlining departments and cross training employees, I am finding more and more instances where Recruiting and HR are being combined into one department with a joint function.
