Recruitment is a non-rational process

Science has overtaken recruitment, which is not necessarily a bad thing, as most people still rely heavily on interviews as the key process for appointing applicants into a vacant role.

FINDING TALENT IS EASY, RECRUITING TALENT IS HARD

Recruiters! We must learn to sell why we are still relevant

Let’s not fool ourselves. We are not a loved profession. Clients often use us begrudgingly, some even with open hostility. I have sat in client board-level meetings and heard with my own ears, the resentment felt towards our industry. Recruiting Blogs and a new splits partner - Wow - lets see how it goes.

Jason Davis and I sat down at a desk of his a number of years ago when recruitingblogs.com was in it's infancy. To be honest, I think I was the 9th member to join up. I saw the other day that a new employee referral system launched called MyJobReferrals.com I thought right away I should tell them that what they should really do is buy the domain name JobReferrals.com because it's better but then thought that they would have already if they were committed.

i followed the instructions to install. i was prompted to install .net 3.5 and i did that.
