Imagining RecruitHub, Github for Recruiters!

Programmers are on GitHub, Designers are on Dribbble, and everyone is on LinkedIn. Yet we brave sourcers are without a home of our own.

Wouldn't it be swell if there were a place where recruiters could not only collaborate and compare notes, but also be evaluated on their skillset?

GitHub is brilliant in it's simplicity. Despite the deep, advanced nature of…

Those jobs are zero-tolerance industries because they are literally matters of life and death. Hiring isn’t.…

Sales Anonymous

Since buyers like to buy and don’t like to be on the receiving end of a sales pitch, this may indicate the need for a 12-step program, but not for customers. Rather, it would be for all salespeople who, intentionally or not, behave in ways that prompt buyers to recoil as though they were dealing with an addict on a binge.

If there were such a program, let’s call it Sales Anonymous, I suspect the 12 steps would read something like…

1. We admitted we were powerless over…

Yet the boss instead focused on the money she brought into the company. He pointed out that her output was essentially the same as last year. He declined the…
