What do you think about prospective candidates who demand clients's name?

Has any of you come across propective candidates who demand to know your clients name? How do you deal with such people especially if they are qualified for a position? I was thinking of writing something where they would sign and promise not to apply directly to the client. Uuuugh!!!

EGrabber - Resume finder..

This week Jim Stroud has a guest columnist that discusses EGrabber and their resume finder software. I was interested in hearing if anyone has used this software and if it has helped in internet research and finding candidates? I looks promising to me, but many have before and disappointed.

A retained firm is working a position for your company. Your company gives that firm a name to connect with regarding that position. Do you pay the same fees on that candidate?
