Hi fellow recruiters,
Check out this great new candidate split database for recruiters only. You have the ability to privately share candidates with other agencies. I am so excited, it's so rare that I have the right candidate and the exact right time with the right client. I can't wait to get started-they are offering free beta testing for 6 months.

What is LinkedIn and Social Networking protocol for this type of issue?
I have a Potential client ... they have flirted with doing business with me on several occasions ... I have worked on a couple of projects with them, submitted several candidates ... with NO success ... they have a brutal hiring process that drags on for months and have both times at the last minute, went the other direction in hiring.
Now, I have the corporate HR lady asking me for a free referral to…

I was talking with a friend of mine over the weekend and she mentioned how she was enjoying a few of the tips that I had showed her in regards to managing bookmarks and her
Google Reader. I noticed that as we were talking it was obvious that she had several tabs open - some for very quick items or news sites. I asked if she'd given any thought to treating her browser homepage like a dashboard instead of a…

For many years farrowjamieson has been tracking the slow decline in response rates of print advertising in recruitment compared to online job sites. While the initial range of generalist job boards created a cheap alternative to listing of vacancies the reality was that people were still looking at the newspapers for casual readership and job enquiries. Over a period of time as job sites increased and print decreased we have been awaiting the crossover.
History may well show us that…

I love, love, love to solve problems – if there is a problem to solve or a need to fill, it is a happy day for me. Happy people almost always love what they do and end up doing it well because of it.
I have an intense curiosity about the business I am in and that I am supporting. I read, listen, ask questions, attend meetings, 'hang at the water cooler', chat, network, participate -- whatever I can to do to learn what/why/how/when/where we do it. This helps me both assess a…

From
Cheezhead ... The world’s long wait is finally over. We can all breath again. Over the weekend, Monster.com revealed its new, job seeker-focused redesign. How do the changes rate? We go into the site for an in-depth look at what worked and what didn’t. And does it even matter.
CEO Sal Iannuzzi calls the new site “an entirely new site experience which allows job seekers a more engaging and dynamic way to find the career that best matches their talent, background,…

I hadn't heard of the site before today. Probably because they don't do a lot of Healthcare posting. An example regarding the low fees - the Physician postings were paying $8K and had been out there for over 100 days. Only someone with low regard for their time would work so hard for so little.

I know this sounds weird coming from a trainer, but it occurred to me that as an industry, we might be a tad over-trained.
For example, some recruiters seem to be information addicts. They’re constantly on the lookout for all manner of training and coaching, but seem to make the same mistakes over and over again. There’s nothing wrong with training, as long as there’s some LEARNING going on.
Of course, at the other extreme are the recruiters who are totally self-taught. As…
