As in every endeavor knowledge is power. In the world of staffing & recruiting there is so much to know. The good news is that this site is like a wonderful town square, where like minded people go to gather and share the news of the day. There are so many interesting conversations to participate in. When I spend a little time looking around and then stop to read a blog post or watch a video, I always leave empowered with encouraging ideas and practical strategies and tactics freely…

For those of you out there who aren’t bilingual English/French, the direct translation is “The Spirit of the Stairs” or “The Wit of the Stairs.” The phrase is a French colloquialism originating from the witticisms of Dennis Diderot, a French author of encyclopedias. Essentially, it describes the response to an insult or cutting remark, when it comes to late to be useful. Romantically, a spirit that comes to you on the stairs, as you leave a party, telling you what you should have said when…

May 21st 2005 I started this little adventure of mine. Does that make it a birthday, because it was created or an anniversary because it is more like a relationship?
I am going to go with anniversary.

Wow - I was thinking that of all the places I was safe, it was here... on RecruitingBlogs.com
I love the networking. I love the ability to quickly reach to peers in the industry. I love the quick "touch" resources and ability to 'touch' those close to me with this somewhat new tool...
But I just got
spammed on the RecruitingBlogs.com site....
again.
I'll spare the spammer and won't name him - but the unsolicited assistance in the form of a 450 word…
