Good afternoon!
I have a (former) client who is relocating to Vegas and is interested in finding a recruiter to work with in that area.
Can anyone recommend a recruiter in that area? Her background is non-profit, event/program planning, HR and project management.
Any referrals would be great! She'll be moving out there in about a month or so.
Please either respond publicly, or privately at linda at rftstaffing dot com.
Thank you!

One of the oldest aphorisms, not to mention time worn clichés, in recruiting: the extended job search as dating metaphor - or, for similes' sake, that looking for the perfect job is a lot like looking for the perfect mate. …

Take No Prisoners is a free weekly memo from Scott Wintrip that explores how Radical Accountability prospers companies and changes lives. Instead of taking people hostage with outdated, heavy-handed, and ineffective methods of management, measurement, and motivation, Radical Accountability focuses on creating an unwavering responsibility for getting what matters most done.

Recruiters are not going to succeed by churning out mindless activities that worked years ago, but which are futile now.
We all know that the industry is hurtling through a period of extreme change and evolution.
But, ironically, few recruiters, or even business owners, are focusing on reinventing the skills of their consulting teams. Which is crazy. Because…

I’ve seen far too many people fall into this trap over the years and you may well have found yourself in a similar situation either as a hiring manager or as a recruiter.
You’re inundated with applications. You skim through the plethora of cover letters or maybe have a quick glance at the front pages of the resumés starting to clog up your inbox.
