Launch the software and you "may" get some level of support, but beyond that, you're pretty much on your own. Amid the growing demand for HR technology, shouldn't there be a better way?
Now there is. It's called SaaS+, and it provides a distinct alternative, blending technology and support with critical services: implementation, validation,…

I don’t work for free.
Let me re-phrase. I don’t like to work for free.
To put it another way, I totally get why people want me to work for free, but since I’m not running a non-profit (and, I would argue, if I was, I still wouldn’t work for free), and therefore I want to be paid for the work I do.
Regardless of whether the business changes its mind.
Regardless of whether an employee referral falls out of the sky.
Regardless of whether…

Know what I really hate? When I attend an event expecting original content and I get the same regurgitated ideas from everyone else who speaks on the topic. It’s not only lame but it’s a big ol’ waste of my time. Unfortunately, this happens most often in those “recruiting is marketing” webinars.
The ones I used to really like as a marketer living in a…

Career fairs have long served as a way to attract and pre-screen a large number of potential job candidates at one time and in one place. But two factors have lessened their efficiency.
First, the growing movement to seek out talent where it lives rather than being limited to local areas is making live job fairs obsolete. Technology and best practices for…

You might be thinking, “what is a bookmarklet?” Well, it is a small piece of JavaScript code that is stored as a bookmark in a web browser. This code typically allows users to interact with the currently loaded web page or the page it will be going to in some way.
I am offering to share 6 bookmarklets that I created (and one that was found). I created them with the help of Mr.…

My executive coach bought this book for me and, honestly, I didn't have high expectations. I like good fiction along the lines of Tom Wolfe and Carl Hiaasen and I thought this read would be mediocre at best.
Wow was I wrong!
Not only did it provide an inspirational, if ruthless role model of an executive recruiter but it's a hell of a multi-layered crime thriller as well.
I also received the DVD of the movie but haven't watched it yet.
I'm going to look up…

As fellow Talent Acquisitionists we’re constantly focused on meeting our targets by recruiting the needles from the haystack with the desired calibre. While that’s good we also need to be aware of the changing scenario across the Globe and how it can affect the Indian Market.
