Did you know that hiring and training a new employee costs up to five times more than retaining an employee?
It doesn't need to be so costly, however to add to your talent team. When you streamline your hiring, you not only cut hiring costs dramatically, but you make it easier to replace current employees who may not be performing up to par.
As the following…

What happens in an organization where minorities are in leadership and the majority is subject to discrimination? Before we set out on this road to explore “reverse discrimination” let us be clear on a few things:
1) Reverse discrimination is not equal to racism. Racism is more than a dislike or hatred of a person based on their race. It is an institutional…

I like you, you retweet me, we tell our network about what we’re doing this weekend. It’s no surprise that it plays an important role in recruiting as well.
Looking for the talent you need will rarely be as simple as waiting for the right applicant to walk…

While the phrase "we're all tech companies now" is bordering on entry into the cliche hall of fame, what it means to recruiting strategies in every type of business is bordering on crisis.
See, while there are hundreds of highly competitive jobs at Microsoft or Google, there are infinitely more jobs posted at thousands of companies you have probably never even heard…

What is the difference between a headhunter and a recruiter? Many years of experience show that these two functions require two completely different sets of skills. Ideally, an HR director should possess all of them. This is, however, more of an imaginary situation rather than reality. Now, this is the first time I’ve ever been called a faggot. Typing that f-word twice actually makes me feel really uncomfortable. I don’t think it’s an ok word to use. In fact, I can’t think of a single instance in which using it is ok. I googled just to confirm the “dictionary definition” is in fact a bundle of sticks. But even the digital…
